Now Claude Can Book Your Car in Los Angeles

You can now book a chauffeur in Los Angeles by asking an AI assistant to do it. Not by opening our website in another tab. By typing it into Claude in the conversation you already had open, and letting the assistant deal with us directly. Here is how that works.

Picture it

It is Tuesday night. You are in the middle of a discussion with Claude, the same one you have had open all day for everything else. You type:

Book me a car to LAX tomorrow at 3pm.

The AI assistant asks which address you are leaving from. You tell it.

A moment later it comes back with a real number, all in, and a link.

You tap the link, pay the fare, and close the tab.

At ten to three the next afternoon the car is at your curb, and there is nothing to settle when you get out.

All set! No website. No form. No confirmation number to keep somewhere. This is what is now known as "Agentic Commerce".

What agentic commerce actually means

For the last few years an AI assistant could write for you. Now it can do much more when given tools known as Connectors.

What an MCP connector is

Here is the part everyone finds confusing, in plain language.

A connector is an address a company publishes so an AI assistant can talk to it directly. The open standard behind it is called MCP, the Model Context Protocol. Think of it as the difference between a shop having a website and a shop having a phone number the AI assistant is allowed to call directly from your Claude session.

You add the address once, the way you would install an app. From then on the assistant can use that company's services inside any conversation, without you going anywhere.

Which AI assistants does this work with?

Any AI assistant that supports MCP connectors. Claude supports them directly. ChatGPT has custom connectors currently in beta, on the web, with Developer Mode switched on. We recommend going through Claude until ChatGPT completes its beta process.

Do I need an account with Iconic CLS?

Not to ask what something costs. Anyone can add the connector and get a real price.

Is it safe to let an AI book for me?

Completely. It is simply arranging a car, not holding your wallet open. It can do the things we have said it can do and nothing else, every trip is confirmed to you in writing before it happens, and cancelling is always allowed.
